Our foundation rests on the visionary leadership of Mr. G.D. Bedwatti, a distinguished Mechanical Engineer whose illustrious career spans over four decades. Beginning with his apprenticeship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in 1984-85, Mr. Bedwatti's expertise was further honed at Altroth Engineering (P) Ltd, where he served as Works Manager and contributed significantly to the company's material handling equipment leadership.
His entrepreneurial journey began after gaining invaluable experience with Mukund Engineers Ltd in Mumbai, as an independent contractor. In 1996, armed with extensive expertise in design, manufacturing, maintenance, and marketing, he founded SGF Fab Industries with a singular vision: to create products of utmost quality, precision, and safety.

Under the dynamic leadership of Abbas Ali Bedwatti, our current CEO and torchbearer of second-generation excellence, SGF has undergone a remarkable transformation. A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from PES University, Abbas Ali has been instrumental in steering the company toward global expansion and technological advancement since August 2012.
His strategic vision encompasses Industry 4.0 integration, international partnerships, and sustainable growth, positioning SGF as a forward-thinking leader in industrial automation. His recent representation of India at the Columbus McKinnon Customer Exchange & Show in Germany (May 2025) exemplifies our commitment to global excellence.
